Seto Gurans National Child Development Services formally became the “Institutional Member” of the Asia-Pacific Regional Network for Early Childhood (ARNEC). Mr Jaya Ram Giri, Former Secretary at Ministry of Education and Sports, Chairperson of Seto Gurans NCDS signed the ‘ARNEC Institutional Membership Document’ in presence of Ms Agatha Pakhrin Thapa, Founder & Vice-chairperson, and Executive Board Members on Friday, 22-March-2019.

Seto Gurans NCDS Executive Director Ms Kunti Rana and M&E Officer Mr Padam Sundar Limbu along with Dr Dipu Shakya, ECD Specialist at UNICEF Nepal are today heading to Singapore to participate in the “Workshop on Noteworthy ECD Practices and Sharing of Parenting Programme 28th -30th April 2019” organized by ARNEC:
1. To finalize the narrative and video documentation of the Nepal’s Parenting Programs — which were initiated with the joint efforts by the then Department of Education (Center for Education and Human Resource Development), UNICEF Nepal and Seto Gurans NCDS — as part of ARNEC’s Noteworthy ECD Practices; and
2. To provide an opportunity for ARNEC and Institutional Members to discuss how we can establish a peer-learning group especially related to responsive caregiving/parenting initiatives.
